What customers say?

“ Apparently they're now open on weekends from 9 AM, so I stopped by for the first time in a while. It's closed, and I should have checked their Instagram before I left... What a shame! PS: I've had their morning fried food set twice since then. I was very satisfied with being able to eat freshly fried food starting at 9 AM, and the free extra rice was also a plus. However, they're only open on weekends, and sometimes they're closed if they're busy, so it's best to check their Instagram before you leave. ”

“ The restaurant's antique-inspired interior is a testament to the restaurant's commitment to quality, with the meat and rice used carefully selected for their exquisite cuisine. While the fillet cutlet seemed popular, I personally prefer minced meat cutlets, so I ordered an additional fillet cutlet with the minced meat cutlet set meal. (*^^*) The minced meat cutlet is lightly seasoned, but still meaty and satisfying. You can also choose to eat the fillet cutlet with two different types of salt. You can also choose other sauces, such as yuzu sauce, depending on your preference. While the restaurant staff might call it unorthodox, I personally like to add the cabbage dressing, which is based on grated daikon radish, for a refreshing taste. (lol) ”

“ Apparently, they recently started serving breakfast! The limited-time breakfast menu consists of only two options: "Meat Udon" or the "Ham, Squid, and Chicken Cutlet Set." ◆ Ham, Squid, and Chicken Cutlet Set (880 yen, tax included) As the name suggests, this is a triple combo of Takasaki ham, Michinoku chicken, and tender squid. It's quite exciting to see these three types of cutlets lined up in the morning. You can freely combine them, such as "ham x ham x chicken" or "chicken x chicken x squid." The breading is light and crispy. The oil drains easily, and the batter is fluffy and light. A wide variety of seasonings are available, including sansho salt, curry salt, sesame, special sauce, yuzu sauce, and Japanese-style sauce. They also serve a generous amount of mustard, so you can customize your meal to your liking. My personal favorite is the "yuzu sauce + mustard" combination. Extra large servings of rice are also available for free, with the heaping serving weighing a whopping 300g! You can enjoy plenty of delicious rice, as you'd expect from a tonkatsu restaurant. You might think, "Is katsu heavy for breakfast?", but the light batter means you can finish it all in one go. We recommend the "tonkatsu morning" to give you energy in the morning! ”

“ I had the 900 yen tonkatsu lunch on a weekday. Honestly, I couldn't believe my mouth watered from Gunma's sticky pork, it was incredibly delicious. They must have been very particular about the ingredients they used, as the breadcrumbs were crispy and the pork was tender and just the right amount of juicy. The condiments were sesame tonkatsu sauce, curry salt, rock salt, and their special onion ponzu sauce, so I never got bored of it and it was delicious all the way to the end. The staff were also very friendly. It's a place I don't get to visit often, but I'd like to come again. ”

“ Two of us visited around 1pm on a Saturday. The restaurant was crowded, but a tatami room (with chairs and a table on tatami mats) was available, so we sat there. Apparently their fillet cutlets are popular, so one person ordered a set meal of four bite-sized fillet cutlets, and the other person ordered two fillets of their special cutlet curry. Both were offered with free extra rice. We started with the salt version (one with salt and one with a mix of salt and curry spices), and it was just as delicious as rumored, with a crispy batter and tender meat. The salt version is good, but the curry spice version is also good! Next, we tried it with sauce, which was absolutely delicious. The cutlet curry was a spicy curry with concentrated flavor that complemented the crispy fried cutlet perfectly. We were able to enjoy a lunch that made us extremely happy. ”

“ The horse mackerel fry set meal was 1,400 yen. I thought it was a little pricey, but since it was limited in quantity, I couldn't resist ordering it. It was one of the best I've ever eaten, with a crispy batter and fluffy meat with no odor. It was delicious with salt or with ground sesame and sauce. Next time I'd like to order the cutlet instead. ”

“ This reasonably priced and delicious pork cutlet restaurant is close to the Maebashi Land Transport Bureau, so I occasionally visit it for lunch during work. On this day, I had the 2-bite assortment lunch...1500 yen (*´꒳`*) Two fillet cutlets, two fried squid, and one fried shrimp. The crispy, fragrant batter was a delight. I also ordered extra mustard and cabbage. The portions were generous, and I was very satisfied! I'll definitely be visiting here again in the future, especially in my breaks from work. Thank you for the meal~(*゚◇゚) ”

“ I came here for the first time today. I ordered the set meal, which included five pork fillet cutlets and a large serving of rice. The batter was crispy and the meat was juicy. I finished it in no time. It was so delicious. Thank you for the meal. ”
